Our Custom PC Build Process
While Geek follows a structured process to plan, assemble, and check custom gaming PCs, AI workstations, creator systems, and professional computers.
1. Understanding Your Requirements
We ask about your budget, intended use, games, software, monitor, preferred brands, appearance, storage needs, portability alternatives, and future upgrade plans.
2. Selecting Components
We prepare a balanced configuration using compatible parts. Selection may include the processor, motherboard, graphics card, memory, storage, power supply, cooling, computer case, networking, operating system, monitor, and peripherals.
3. Compatibility Review
We check processor socket, motherboard support, memory type, graphics-card size, cooler clearance, case dimensions, power requirements, connectors, storage interfaces, airflow, and expansion options.
4. Customer Approval
The proposed configuration, specifications, pricing, availability, and important conditions are shared before the build proceeds.
5. Assembly and Cable Management
Components are installed carefully, power and data connections are checked, and cables are arranged to support airflow and a clean internal layout.
6. BIOS and Component Checks
The system is checked to confirm that the processor, memory, storage, graphics card, fans, and connected hardware are detected correctly. Settings may be adjusted where appropriate.
7. Basic Testing
The completed system is checked for startup, component detection, temperatures, fan operation, storage access, display output, and basic stability.
8. Collection or Delivery
After completion, the customer can arrange collection or delivery according to the agreed terms.
